The Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners and Teenagers (TEYLT) is specifically targeted for those who are interested in teaching young learners (aged 4 to 11) and teenagers (aged 12+). This 10-unit course will give you insight into how children learn language, as a mother tongue and English as secong language. You will discover new ideas for activities for both young learners - aged 4 to 11 and teenagers -aged 12+. This 10 unit course focuses on speech, language units and writing skills which form the basic theorotical framework for TEYLT practice.

The TEYLT Cretificate is suitable for preschool teachers, kindergarted teachers, primary school teachers and tutors. Students have the flexibility to follow the course on-site as a Part Time atudent or via Distance Learning. It is possible to work at your own pace and control the completion and submission of assignments leading to the Certificate.

This course adheres to the international curriculum requirements for TEYLT Certification. The TEYLT programme offered y LTTC is recognized by IATEFL I International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language ), the TEFL Board and IATQI ( International Association of TESOL Qualifying Institutions).

• Be a competent speaker of English;
• Have obtained at least 5 credits in GCE 'O' Level with a credit in GCE 'O' Level
  English as a First Language or;
• Have obtained an equivalent qualification, e.g. IELTS Band 6.5 / TOEFL 600 /
  High School English standards from regional countries.
• In Lieu of the above we will conduct a Diagnostic Assesment to determine
  Student Proficiency Level.
• Have a strong interest in teaching children and teenager
• The minimum age of student must be 21 years old
