IBAM Certificate

The four modules which make up the IBAM Certificate in Business Practice are:

• Accounting for Business
• Business Communications
• Business Environment
• Business Management

The IBAM Certificate in Business Practice is open to all students and is broadly equivalent to the first year of a three year university degree. The Certificate is designed to develop the
knowledge and skills required to work effectively within business organisations and to enable an understanding of the business environment.

IBAM Diploma

The IBAM Diploma in Business Practice builds upon the underpinning principles of the IBAM Certificate by developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the four modules, which are essential to successful business organisations.

The IBAM Diploma is broadly equivalent to the second year of a three year university degree and is open to those who have successfully completed the IBAM Certificate or any other qualification deemed by the IBAM to be of equivalent rigour to the Certificate.

Candidates who gain the IBAM Diploma in Business Practice and wish to progress will be eligible for direct entry onto the ICSA Professional Programme which leads to the GradICSA Chartered Secretary qualification and to full ICSA membership. Alternatively you could choose to complete a university degree before completing the ICSA Professional Programme.
